MacBook Air Multi-Touch Trackpad Coming to MacBook Pros?

Okay, one more post on the MacBook Air and then I'm done (at least for now).

AppleInsider reports today that the Air's multi-touch trackpad is expected to be added to MacBook Pro models in the next several weeks. If you missed the hoopla regarding the trackpad, with its iPhone-like pinching, take a look at the video below. And if you're planning to buy a MacBook Pro soon, you might want to wait.

Great video, Jim! I think the most notable and significant breakthrough of the iPhone, the iPod Touch, and the MacBook Air is the absolutely innovative way of using our sense of touch to control a device. Until now, we've only been able to use our fingers to poke at buttons and switches on various gadgets, or to have them hold a stylus as we're forced to learn strange, unnatural ways of inputting information. With these products, intuitive gestures and hand movements make control easy! It's a wonder that Apple didn't expand the new touchpads to all of the portables it makes!
